CNKTID

Glossary

What is Collateral?

Assets your broker reserves to support positions. This is not an extra CNKTID fee.

Collateral is cash or securities your broker sets aside to back a position that could lose more than you paid, such as a sold option or a spread.

Collateral stays in your own brokerage account. It isn't a fee and CNKTID never holds it, but while it is reserved you can't use it for other trades.
