Set up TastyTrade and connect CNKTID

Go to tastytrade.com and click Open an Account. Choose an individual account unless you know you need something else.

They'll ask for your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, and a few questions about your investing experience. This is normal — every US broker is required to ask.

Tip: answer the experience questions honestly. You don't need options experience to copy CNKTID strategies, but TastyTrade decides which account features to switch on based on your answers.

TastyTrade emails you when your account is approved — usually within 1–2 business days. Then link your bank and transfer in the amount you want to invest.

Start with an amount you're completely comfortable with. You can always add more later, and CNKTID lets you choose exactly how much of your account each strategy is allowed to use.

If you haven't already, create your free CNKTID account. It takes about 2 minutes and there's no card required — you only ever pay a fee on profits.

After signing in, CNKTID walks you through a short setup. When you reach the My TastyTrade step, click Connect TastyTrade.

You'll be sent to TastyTrade's own website — look for the tastytrade.com address in your browser bar. Sign in there with your TastyTrade email and password. CNKTID never sees your TastyTrade password.

TastyTrade will show a screen asking if you want to authorize CNKTID. Click Authorize (or "Allow"). You'll be brought straight back to CNKTID, connected.

Choose a strategy from the Real results page, then tell CNKTID how much of your money it may use — either a dollar amount or a share of your account. That's it. When the trader opens or closes a trade, it's copied to your account automatically, sized to your amount.
