CNKTID

Risk disclosure · version 2026-10-15.2

Read this first.

Plain English, no surprises. Everyone signs this before copying their first strategy.
  1. 1Trading can lose money

Trading stocks and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of the money you set aside for a strategy. Some option trades can lose more than the amount paid to open them. Only use money you can afford to lose.

  2. 2Past results don't promise future returns

Performance, win rates, risk levels, charts and calculators on CNKTID show what happened in the past or what might have happened. They are not a promise or prediction of future results. Your results will differ from the trader's because of account size, timing, prices you get, fees and rounding.

  3. 3Not financial advice

CNKTID is a technology platform. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser or financial planner, and nothing on CNKTID is a personal recommendation or tax advice. Suggestions such as "Help me choose" are based only on the answers you give and are for information. Talk to a licensed professional if you're unsure whether copying is right for you.

  4. 4You choose, and you stay in control

You decide which strategies to copy and how much to set aside. When you start copying, you allow CNKTID to open, change and close trades for that strategy in your linked brokerage account, sized to your allocation, without asking you before each trade. You can pause, stop, or unlink your brokerage at any time. Stopping prevents new trades; trades already open stay open until they are closed by the strategy, by you, or by an automatic exit.

  5. 5Copying is not perfect

Your orders may fill at different prices than the trader's, fill only partly, or not fill at all. Accounts with too little buying power, below a strategy's minimum, or with an expired brokerage link are skipped. Market gaps, fast markets, outages, brokerage rejections and internet problems can delay or prevent trades — including automatic exits such as stop-losses, which are checked about once a minute and are not guaranteed.

  6. 6Options and spreads

Options can expire worthless and can be assigned early. Spreads limit risk only when every part fills together, which CNKTID requires. Some strategies may hold positions that can lose more than the amount set aside. Read each strategy's risk level and setup before copying.

  7. 7Your safety limits

You can set a loss limit for your account and for each strategy. When a limit is reached, CNKTID pauses new trades for you. Strategies that lose money overall are paused automatically for review. These tools reduce risk but can't remove it, and losses can go past a limit before it acts.

  8. 8About the traders

Traders on CNKTID may trade the same positions in their own accounts and earn a share of the fees their strategies produce. A verified badge means CNKTID checked the trader's identity and recent results; it is not an endorsement or guarantee.

  9. 9Fees

Joining is free. CNKTID charges a performance fee only on profit you actually lock in — 10% of gross realised profits by default, shown on each strategy before you copy. Fees are worked out on the 1st of each month and charged automatically to your saved card; you get a statement by email. Losing months cost nothing, but losses are not carried forward to reduce later fees. Your brokerage may charge its own commissions and fees.

  10. 10Your money and your data

Your money stays in your own brokerage account (including IRAs, 401(k)s and other brokerage accounts where supported) at all times. CNKTID never holds or withdraws your funds and cannot move money out of your account. We store only what we need to place trades — never your brokerage password. TastyTrade is our first supported brokerage; CNKTID is not affiliated with or endorsed by TastyTrade.

  11. 11Taxes and retirement accounts

Copied trades are your trades and may create taxable gains or losses. Retirement accounts have their own rules on which trades are allowed. You are responsible for your taxes and for checking that copying fits your account.

  12. 12Changes to this agreement

If we change this disclosure we'll update the version number, and you'll be asked to read and sign it again before any new copying starts.
