What is options copy trading?
When an approved trader opens or closes an option trade, CNKTID places the same trade in each copier's own brokerage account, scaled to the amount that copier set aside. Your money never leaves your account.
Why options need special handling
- Options can't be split, so your contract count is always rounded down. If your amount is less than one contract, that trade is skipped — never rounded up into bigger risk.
- Spreads go out as one all-or-nothing order, so you never end up holding just one leg.
- Price guards refuse or cap opening orders that move too far from the trader's price, and stale trade alerts are refused.
- Take profit and stop loss are placed only after your broker confirms the fill — never from estimates.
What you control
- How much to copy: a dollar amount or a share of your account (the smaller wins).
- Your own daily loss limit, plus Pause, Stop, or Stop & close at any time.
- Co-pilot mode: approve or skip each trade before it's placed, or let it copy automatically.
What it costs
No monthly subscription. Each strategy charges a trader-set fee of 5–25% on your realized profit, billed monthly. A losing month's loss must be earned back before fees start again.
Trading options involves risk, including loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results. CNKTID is a software platform, not a broker-dealer or investment adviser, and is not affiliated with TastyTrade or any company named on this page.
