How does a strategy get approved?
- Build the strategy in Strategy Builder and save its settings.
- Paper test it with practice money at real market prices. Paper results never count as copier returns or fees.
- Submit it for approval. Our team reviews the saved version and either approves it or explains what to change.
- Once approved, you publish it and switch on live trading when you're ready.
What happens if I change settings after approval?
Approval covers one exact version of your settings. Changing settings takes the strategy off the site and pauses new copies until the new version is reviewed. Open trades can still close.
Can a strategy be approved without paper testing?
Occasionally our team approves a strategy manually. It is labeled as a manual approval, never as paper-qualified, and the decision is logged.
What is a VIX pause?
When the VIX rises 5% or more from the prior day's close, CNKTID pauses new copied trades on each live strategy, at most once per day, and alerts the trader. Open trades can still close. You resume when you're ready.
Can I keep my strategy running through VIX spikes?
Yes. In Strategy status you can turn on "Keep running through VIX spikes" after reading a risk warning and accepting it. You still get an alert on each spike. Your strategy's own VIX rules and copiers' loss limits still apply.
Are there other VIX rules?
Strategies can also set a VIX ceiling (block new trades above a level) or a VIX minimum (only trade at or above a level). If VIX data is unavailable, those rules block new trades rather than guess.
How are copiers protected?
- Every new copied trade checks the copier's live brokerage buying power at the moment it's placed.
- Copiers set their own daily loss caps, position caps and peak-drawdown stop.
- Co-pilot is the default: copiers approve each trade at the exact size shown.
- Opening trades on contracts expiring today stop in the final hour before the close.
- Missed payments block new copies but never block closes.
Can I see my copiers' accounts?
No. Traders see strategy-level totals and fees only, never copier names, balances, account numbers or individual trades.
Are closes guaranteed?
No. A close can be blocked by safety checks, or rejected or delayed by the brokerage. CNKTID retries, re-places missing exits and alerts our team, but a stop-loss level doesn't cap a loss.
How do trader fees work?
You set a profit fee of 5–25% per strategy (10% by default). Enter it as a plain number: 10 means 10%, 12.5 means 12.5%. Copiers pay only on realized profit, billed monthly.
How much do I keep?
You keep 80% of the fees your copiers pay; CNKTID keeps 20%. Copiers don't pay CNKTID's share on top. Payouts are tracked in your dashboard and paid manually.
What about losing months?
Losses carry forward per strategy. If a copier loses $200 and then makes $300, the fee applies only to the last $100.
Can I change my fee?
Yes. A new rate applies only to trades that close afterward, and copiers are notified. Earlier trades keep the rate locked when they closed.
